Bodmin train station is quite literally in the middle of nowhere so do not wait 'till you get there to arrange a taxi.

Prices
Our Prices are always less than the taxi meter rate (when you book in advance). For example a taxi from Bodmin Parkway to Rock will is £45 (approx day rate).
The distance to your destination is not an issue either,so whether your taxi journey is short or Long distance we can help.
During the busy summer season we can get booked up very quickly. So it is best to book your Bodmin Parkway Taxis with us as soon as you have your train tickets even if it is months in advance. We always confirm advanced bookings on the day of travel or just before.

The Problem with Bodmin Parkway Train Station
The problem with Bodmin Parkway Train Station is there are many problems.
Bodmin Parkway is a small station located in mid Cornwall 3.5 miles from Bodmin Town.
There are bus services that operate from the station, however they don't seem to coincide with the train times and can lead to customers being left waiting for an hour or more.
Unfortunately no path exists between the station and the town, only a 60mph main road so a bus or taxi is the only option.
The term "Parkway" normally means a station situated outside of the main town so being stranded is a definite probability if you have not arranged a lift of some sort.
There are a handful of taxis that operate from the station but they are by no means 24 hours so do not expect there to be lots of them just waiting to be hired when you arrive.
Cornwall is very rural so transport to and from Bodmin Parkway accommodates for the small population of the local area.
Parking is also a problem as the public car park is small and gets full very quickly. The pick up point only has spaces for 4 cars and during busy spells normally gets taken over by pre-booked taxis and people collecting friends/relatives.
So basically when travelling to Bodmin Parkway Train Station always make sure you have organised onward travel way in advance, especially during the busy summer months.
This is not London/Manchester etc etc so please be patient.
